Docent
Docents lead guided tours of the Museum’s exhibitions for visiting groups. They undergo extensive training in the arts, history, culture, and science then share their knowledge with visitors of all ages. Curiosity and independent study are required. Knowledge of art, history, anthropology, and/or public education is helpful.

Greeters
Greeters are the front-line receptionists. They make visitors feel welcome; provide directions and help answer questions about the exhibitions and other tourism interests; follow up with visitor experiences; and promote programs, events, classes, and membership. Training and resources are provided.

Events
Event volunteers serve as hosts and hostesses during Museum events. Opportunities include set-up, serving, and clean-up; assisting with hands-on activities; and providing hospitality as Greeters.

Collections
Collections volunteers work behind the scenes, working with the art and artifacts. They assist with photographing items, cataloging/documenting, and maintaining the collections inventory. Attention to detail and familiarity with computers is helpful.
